Bills Name Tyrod Taylor Starting Quarterback vs. Chiefs Over Nathan Peterman

Peterman threw five interceptions in a single half before the team pulled him and replaced him with Taylor.

"Tyrod Taylor will be our starting quarterback this week", McDermott said.

Taylor's last start wasn't all that great, to be fair to why McDermott even made the switch in the first place. "We evaluate every week and determine who has earned the right to be the starter".

The decision would have been more defensible if the Bills' season was already in the scrap heap, but they are now 5-5 and tied with the Ravens for the second wild-card spot.

McDermott said after the game that he didn't regret the decision to roll with Peterman. He called some of the non-interceptions "pretty darn good", which can be true yet is certainly not what the National Football League world expected to hear from McDermott.

Taylor has completed a career-high 63.8 percent of his passes on the year so far with 11 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions.
