Singer and actress Melissa Schuman, a former member of U.S. girl group DREAM, has published a powerful blog post in which she accuses Nick Carter of raping her in 2004. Carter didn't care, and when Schuman woke up the next morning, she left and didn't say anything, hoping that she'd never have to deal with him again.
The singer reveals that she was just 18 when the Backstreet Boy invited her over to hang out in his Santa Monica apartment. At one point, Carter allegedly repeatedly begged to have intercourse, but Schuman firmly told him she was saving herself for her husband.
At the time, Melissa was 18 and Nick was 22, and she claims he performed unwanted oral sex on her before demanding she carry out oral sex on him in his bathroom. They started kissing when he put her on the bathroom counter and started to take off her trousers. "I wanted to believe that it was some sort of nightmare I was dreaming up".
At this point in the post, Melissa warns readers that the detail becomes quite graphic, writing: "He then picked me up, put me on the bathroom counter and started to unbutton my trousers".
She later tweeted her gratitude to fans for supporting her decision to speak out about the alleged incident, writing, "I just want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support", Shuman wrote. "I was transparent with my then boyfriend about the call and assured him I had no interest but needed to at least accept his call out of respect and courtesy to my label".

Get him out of there!"I asked him what it was and he whispered in my ear once more, 'it's all me baby, '" she writes.
