Authorities respond to shooting at high school in New Mexico

Police are responding to reports of an active shooter at Aztec High School in New Mexico. Aztec Mayor Sally Burbridge confirmed that the shooter was down and said there is no more threat to the community. The shooter is reportedly in custody.

No injured people have been transported from Aztec High School to the San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, according to hospital spokeswoman Laura Werbner.

The Bloomfield Police Department is asking parents to stay away from the school until further notice. We do have officers located at all of the schools in Bloomfield and they are all on lock down.
