A missing Charlotte woman and her 8-year-old daughter, who hadn't been seen since Monday afternoon, have been found safe in Missouri.

Detectives said Stack took her 8-year-old daughter Ava with her when she left her home on Cloister Drive at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

8-year-old Ava Stack, who is believed to be with her mother Megan was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve shirt with a heart design on it, purple jeans, and grey shoes with a fuchsia zip-up jacket.

Police were concerned about the disappearance because of some troubling conversations Megan had recently had with family members.
