The Browns were a shockingly bad 1-27 with Brown running the personnel department, but the Boston native and Harvard Law School graduate was able to stockpile some serious assets during his brief tenure that will leave a nice present for his successor.

One win in two seasons cost Sashi Brown his job with the Browns.

Brown, who was promoted to Executive Vice President of Football Operations upon the firing of Ray Farmer two seasons ago, forged a plan that was to remove the Browns from the dregs of the NFL's standings. He gutted Cleveland's roster, electing not to re-sign some of the team's own free agents in favor of signing younger players and acquiring future draft picks. This strategy has acquired the Browns many picks but has also passed on the likes of Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson.

Brown and Jackson appeared to be at odds over several roster decisions and Haslam figured his best course of action was to end the relationship rather than attempting to fix it.
