Dead & Company concert postponed


Dead & Company with John Mayer has postponed its final three concerts including the South Florida performance.

John Mayer is on the mend after being admitted to the hospital Tuesday for an emergency surgery.

The remaining two shows of the tour have since been postponed.

The majority of the band members of Dead & Company qualify for AARP benefits, but its the 40-year-old John Mayer who gets sick before his Florida shows. His representative says he is good spirits.

Tickets for that show can be used for a rescheduled date or refunded. Information on the rescheduled concerts will be announced as soon as possible.

The guitarist was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning for an emergency appendectomy that resulted in the postponement of the remainder of Dead & Company's fall tour, including stops in New Orleans, Orlando and Ft.
