They were threatened the most when the Sixers cut the lead down to five with under five minutes left in the fourth quarter, but the Suns continued to make shots and answer back. Preliminary tests showed Booker strained his left adductor while playing defense with 2:40 left in the fourth quarter. Suns forward TJ Warren was assessed two technical fouls with 7:58 to play in the third quarter to earn ejection from the game.

While the Sixers would get it close in the fourth, Booker decided he'd had enough with his team up 11 and a little over three minutes remaining. The Suns had seven turnovers in the quarter and the Raptors had none.

The Raptors led by as many as 17 points before finishing the first quarter with a 36-23 lead with Lowry scoring 13.
