Google Pixel 2 is now available at Rs. 39999 on Flipkart


You may recall from the November update that Google started including "functional" improvements for Nexus and Pixel devices that were included alongside the security stuff. This update is said to address several issues uncovered in the recent months. They also confirmed that this update will indeed include the KRACK patch.

As usual, the vulnerabilities level has been segmented from high to critical, with the most critical one in relating to the media framework, possibly allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a "crafted file". Sensitive data that can be retrieved using the KRACK exploit include credit card numbers, chat messages, emails, passwords, photos, as per Phone Arena. Google is doing this now through its December security patch.
