Haryana minister tells HUDA to cancel Fortis' land lease

Gurugram Police have registered a case against a senior consultant of Fortis Hospital, in connection with the death of a seven-year-old girl suffering from Dengue.

"We have submitted our findings of the inquiry that we conducted last month on November 23 to the police which states that the hospital had overcharged the family of the deceased", said BK Rajora, chief medical officer, civil hospital, Gurgaon.

In his complaint, Jayant Singh, urged the police to register the FIR for "culpable homicide" owing to criminal negligence against Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon, and also, forgery and destruction of evidence by the hospital management and doctors. That the hospital has found it guilty on various counts and a case would be registered against it.
