Lilac Fire: Wildfire Breaks Out In Fallbrook, San Diego

A fast-moving brush fire is burning south of Fallbrook, near Bonsall along Interstate 15 near state Route 76 Thursday.

The fire is now at 100-150 acres with zero percent containment, according to Cal Fire.

The San Diego Sheriff's Office is handling evacuations for Lilac, according to North County Fire.

This is the latest among wind-driven fires plaguing Southern California.

There is no active wildfire working in San Diego County at this time.

The fire is at Old Highway 395 near Dulin Road, Cal Fire reports.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
