London Mayor Sadiq Khan arrives in Pakistan

Commenting on the Mayor's response, Ms Pidgeon said: "Sadiq Khan likes to boast about the start of the London Overground night service but he can not hide away from the fact Londoners have always been promised a Boxing Day service on the London Overground".

The mayor was received by officials from the Punjab government upon his arrival and is now holding a meeting with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Model Town.

Calling Lahore a thriving business centre, he said the provincial capital has "great potential for London businesses".
