'Monster Hunter: World' News: Full Beta Details Revealed By Capcom

"Monster Hunter World" fans are in for a treat as Capcom recently announced the coming of the title's PlayStation 4 beta.

Monster Hunter Stories has been a big name in the Monster Hunter series since its original Japanese release for the Nintendo 3DS back in October of 2016, and now it's the franchise's biggest mobile release yet.

PBS to Replace Charlie Rose With Christiane Amanpour
The hour-long program was owned by Rose's production company and distributed to local PBS stations all across the country. She has won every major television journalism award , including news and documentary Emmys and several Peabody Awards.

During the beta, you'll be able to choose from the 14 different weapon types available in the main game. Internet connection and PlayStation Plus are required to participate in the beta.

The environments we've seen in Monster Hunter World thus far are quite diverse, with alien-like purple locations as well as classic forests and deserts. Japanese iOS and Android users are now being treated to a reworked version of the 3DS game in the similarly-titled Monster Hunter Stories, which is now available to download on most modern mobile devices. It will be exclusive for PS4, which has to have 5.9 GB of free space, and PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game also features HD graphics and an auto-save function. First, players are tasked to explore the Ancient Forest, in which they will find the Great Jargas and the Anjanath. In the Wildspire Waste, a massive, dry expanse with swamplands, you can face off against the intermediate level mud-slinging Barroth. Switching weapons is easily done at camp, and there's even a Training Room included in the beta to test each one. Earlier reports suggested that offline single-player questing would be possible in World, so I've asked Capcom for clarification that this online requirement only applies to the beta and not the full game.
