An Ola ride on Sunday night turned out to be a nightmare for a 23-year-old fashion stylist, who was allegedly molested by her cab driver after holding her "hostage" inside the auto by child-locking the doors.
According to the woman, the driver suddenly stopped the auto and started molesting her by touching her legs.
Ola said in a statement today that it had zero tolerance to such incidents and the driver had been suspended on receiving the complaint.
"But I realised that the child lock was on".

It said it would be holding meetings with airlines to try and ensure its products are exempt from any restrictions. If the bag will fly as a checked bag, the battery must be removed and the battery must be carried in the cabin.
Recounting her ordeal to The Hindu, she said that the cab driver, Rajashekhar Reddy, stopped the auto at Intermediate Ring Road and suddenly she found him trying to catch her legs in the back seat. "I was scared that he could have done anything as the place was deserted", she said.
Ola spokesperson said, "We regret the unfortunate experience the customer had during their ride".
The incident took place at Sunday night around 10.30 pm.
She twisted his arm and started banging on the door following which he stopped misbehaving and drove to her house located in BTM Layout, the woman said. "Safety of customers is our priority and we will continue to extend our full support to this investigation against the said driver", Ola Spokesperson said. "After much screaming, he reluctantly stopped the auto, and continued standing on the road until I took a picture of him and threatened to go to the cops".

The woman lodged a complaint with the Ola safety team, which suspended Reddy's services with immediate effect.
It was only upon reaching the Ejipura signal that she found an autorickshaw.
Ola, acting on her complaint, has now suspended Reddy. Even now they haven't told me what action has been taken. Following this, she started receiving threat calls from Reddy, the complaint said. Though the woman had complained to Ola via customer care, after which action was taken too, Ola representatives claimed they did not have any record of the complaint.
