R. Kelly Mansions Burglarized, Cops On Prowl For Suspect


He's facing a number of charges, including burglary and theft by deception.

Grammy-winning singer R. Kelly is this much closer to having the person responsible for burglarizing his Georgia mansions.

When investigators visited another of Kelly's residences in the city, they then found it had also been burglarized. Police report that almost everything, including his furniture and electronics, were stolen from both of his properties.

Some of Kelly's neighbors also told police that they'd seen various "suspicious" trucks at the two homes. They told cops they'd been hired by one of Kelly's associates, Alfonso Walker, to sell everything because Kelly was moving his entire operation to Chicago. Since Walker had done work in the past for Kelly before, the men said they thought that everything was above board.

R. Kelly's team revealed to authorities that Alfonso Walker was merely a part-time employee.

Forecasters had earlier warned it will be "bitterly cold" for the rest of the week despite a mild day today. The warning will be in place between 4pm on December 7 until 6pm the following evening.

WSB-TV was first to report the news. Police believe that Walker sold the singer's possessions.

He was told he had to turn himself into police on Tuesday but didn't end up doing so which has ultimately led to a warrant for his arrest.
