The Division's 1.8 Update Drops Tomorrow, Patch Notes Released


Skirmish (PvP mode) - In Skirmish, two teams of four compete against each other to get the highest number of kills before the time expires. In fact, the developer Massive Entertainment is ready to release the "largest ever free update" for the third-person shooter tomorrow, and as a way to celebrate, the studio is offering free access to the game's three DLC packs this weekend, starting on December 7 and ending on December 10.

It's by some distance the tie of the round, with the Merseyside rivals going head-to-head at Anfield in the knockout competition. The Reds play a whopping eight games before that FA Cup fixture; including seven Premier League games.

In Resistance, the different factions are teaming up for the first time to fight against Division agents. Defeated enemies drop resources that can either be used to set up defenses or extend the battlefield. And it's not enough to just "down" an enemy player - you have to eliminate them to make it count. There's a lot to like in Resistance including a new area of the map, new PVP and PVE game modes, alongside tweaks and bug fixes. Check out the long list of changes in the 1.8 update here.
