Skirmish (PvP mode) - In Skirmish, two teams of four compete against each other to get the highest number of kills before the time expires. In fact, the developer Massive Entertainment is ready to release the "largest ever free update" for the third-person shooter tomorrow, and as a way to celebrate, the studio is offering free access to the game's three DLC packs this weekend, starting on December 7 and ending on December 10.

Defeated enemies drop resources that can either be used to set up defenses or extend the battlefield. And it's not enough to just "down" an enemy player - you have to eliminate them to make it count.
