Camila Cabello Gets Candid About Her Dramatic Split From Fifth Harmony

"I'd just say congratulations", the British rock icon shared of what he would say to Camila if they ever met.

Fifth Harmony has continued as a quartet and released their self-titled third album a year ago. If Cabello hasn't turned out to be the domineering force of nature we imagined when she shook up Fifth Harmony, there's as much to be said for a relatable sense of delight as a knack for disruption.

The "Havana" singer is getting real about her exit from girl group Fifth Harmony. Many took the stunt as a diss against Camila, and she told The New York Times in a new interview that it caught her off guard. The 10-track record includes her latest single "Never Be the Same" and the smash hit "Havana", featuringYoung Thug, which now sits at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and has topped Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart for a seventh week, marking the longest reign for a song by a solo female in a lead role in almost five years.

One of those fixtures will be played on 21 October and the other on 28 October, with the decision on that still to be taken. The NFL is set to release their 2018 worldwide London schedule but leaks have already hit the internet.

Revealed this week, Billboard reports that the song is having the longest run on the Pop Songs chart since Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" in 2013. Naturally, everyone wants to know how Camila really feels about her former bandmates, especially after that 2017 MTV Video Music Awards performance when Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei, and Ally Brooke Hernandez basically had Camila thrown off stage. It was going to be about her struggle since leaving Fifth Harmony and be built around the wrenching single "I Have Questions".

Cabello's 2015 collaboration with Shawn Mendes - the first time any member of Fifth Harmony released solo material - created tension. "I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't prepared for it - especially because at that point I'd moved on from it".

Confident enough in her tenure as a solo artist to discuss the nasty split, Cabello finally dished on her side of the drama.

Given Celta have performed well against the better sides in La Liga this season, there was no sense that this tie was over after the first leg.

While the group is known for their success, Cabello has proved that she can do good all by herself.

And the "Rocket Man" star is in luck, as the "Crying in the Club" singer previously admitted that after originally thinking the album would be full of "sad songs", she has now found it to be more upbeat than she expected.

On January 8th's episode of Beats 1 with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music, Elton John mentioned Camila while talking about his "tips" for in 2018 with Matt.
