Donald Trump says he would 'beat Oprah' in presidency battle

He later said Oprah would be "formidable" should she decide to run for president against Trump.

GAYLE KING: "I do think that's interesting because Stedman says that he thought the reporter said to him would she make a good president and he said absolutely she would".

"Yeah, I'll beat Oprah", he told reporters in the the Cabinet Room during a meeting on immigration with members of Congress.

"I'll beat Oprah. Oprah would be a lot of fun". I don't think she had any intention [of declaring].

Health officials estimate 2,000 customers may be affected, based on the average sales volume of the 7-Eleven, 2666 W. 7800 South. The health department believes this case could be linked to the ongoing outbreak Salt Lake County has experienced since August.

It's unclear whether Trump watched Winfrey's Sunday speech, but the White House, reacting to the latest Oprah boomlet, said Monday that the administration would relish such a match-up. In 1999, he said Winfrey would be his running mate if he ran for the presidency - even though he did not run. She's a terrific woman. Her long-time partner Stedman Graham told the Los Angeles Times on Sunday that Winfrey "would absolutely do it".

Three months ago, Winfrey made it clear she had no political ambitions during an October appearance on CBS This Morning. "But I don't think she's actively considering it at this time", she added.

The possibility of a Winfrey candidacy has energized many Democrats, who view her as the ideal foil to Trump.

Winfrey, as was the case for Trump before being elected president, has never held public office.

A police spokesperson also confirmed that a "Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist" had been killed in the encounter in Kokerenag. A militant was killed on Monday in an ongoing gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district.

In the past, Trump has spoken positively of Winfrey. "The current president of the United States had no political experience!" I got emails from people being like, 'Is he being strategic or is he being supportive?' He is nothing but supportive. It was the right person giving the right speech at the right time.

Last fall Winfrey dismissed the notion of running for president. "Absolutely. But in terms of where she stands on a number of positions, I would find a number of problems with that", Sanders said.

Winfrey's speech as she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award touched on her humble upbringing and childhood wonder in civil rights heroes.

Last September, Winfrey tweeted a New York Post editorial that trumpeted her as the Democrats' best hope of beating Trump in 2020.

Michael Reagan: Trump Too Strong for Oprah in 2020
He says, " Oprah would be a lot of fun". "I know her very well", he said, before adding: "I don't think she's going to run". Oprah Winfrey's best friend, Gayle King , is downplaying any suggestion that Winfrey might run for president.
