'Game of Thrones'-inspired ice hotel opens in Finland's Lapland

For those who aren't bothered by the cold, you can visit the hotel for about £13 and if you want to stay for the night, you'll have to fork out around £147 which is the starting price.

That's because Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Finland is channeling its inner "North" this season and in partnership with HBO Nordic, has rolled out a Game of Thrones-themed Ice Hotel.

In a complex spanning over 20,000 metres, Thrones fans can kick back in hotel rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a wedding chapel that are all made from a staggering 20 million kilos of snow and 350,000 kilos of natural ice. People can take a day trip to see the hotel for $US18, but it costs at least $US200 per night to stay there.
