Magnitude Quake Strikes Western Iran

The scientist says it appears that all are aftershocks from a November temblor that killed over 530 people.

Iranian media are reporting that a magnitude 5.1 quake has jolted the country's southern province of Kerman. In Thursday's quakes, four people suffered minor injuries. Electricity and internet services were not interrupted in the Iraqi capital.

On November 13 a powerful magnitude 7.3 quake devastated the northern border region between Iran and Iraq, making it the deadliest quake of 2017.
