Senior Gaza-Based Hamas Terrorist Accidentally Shoots Himself in Head

Spokesman for the Gaza Ministry of Interior and National Security, Iyad al-Bazm, said Alami has been taken to the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City to receive medical treatment.

Senior Hamas official Imad al-Alami is in critical condition after he accidentally shot himself in the head on Tuesday while inspecting his weapon, according to the group's spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum.

However, some reports suggest Al-Alami may have been shot in an assassination attempt, according to the BBC.
