The 2019 Edge ST, which makes its world debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, is the first crossover in the Ford lineup to undergo serious performance tinkering. It comes packing a 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine that pushes out 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
Ford adds the sporty ST trim level to its Edge lineup as part of a midcycle refresh of the 5-passenger midsize SUV that goes on sale this summer as a '19 model. The V6 is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard. The combination of extra output and tight gear spacing will keep the engine in the powerband and deliver brisk acceleration at any speed. Ford also included a Sport mode, which is created to deliver optimal transmission and engine performance.

In terms of looks, the new Edge ST SUV stands out from the other 2019 Ford Edge vehicles by featuring deeper side skirts, a black hexagonal grille, and dual exhaust outlets. It also rides on unique 21-inch wheels.
Of course, today's buyer requires more than just performance. The Edge also has available post-collision braking, which Ford said automatically applies moderate brake pressure in the event of a collision to avoid further injury, damage to the vehicle or a second collision.

The post said that the woman did get a refund but after the store checked and verified that the tree was purchased on her account. Witnesses say the woman wanted a refund for her once lush, full tree because, get this, it had since died.
The 2019 model comes standard with forward-collision warning, dynamic-brake support, pre-collision assist, pedestrian detection, blind-spot detection, cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping alert and assist, automatic high beams and hill-start assist. In addition, standard safety features include AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and Curve Control, and 911 Assist.
"Edge drivers expect a sophisticated, modern driving experience", Cristina Aquino, Edge marketing manager said in the release. The Focus and Fiesta, by contrast, come with turbo in-line four-cylinder engines, front-wheel drive and only are offered with six-speed manual transmissions.

The Ford Edge is getting a sharp one. The FordPass Connect multimedia connectivity system with Wi-Fi will be standard, enabling the connection of up to 10 wireless personal electronic devices, and enabling communication with smartphones via the FordPass app. The Edge also gets Auto Start-Stop tech to improve economy. That last item connects your vehicle with your home Amazon assistant, allowing you to keep up with daily appointments, check for nearby points of interest and even make some purchases without ever leaving the driver's seat. The upgraded Sync 3 system expands on the range of possibilities, and includes an 8.0-inch touch screen and a 12-speaker Bang and Olufsen premium audio.
