Hours after being "untraceable" from Ahmedabad in the morning, VHP global working president Pravin Togadia was found in an unconscious state in Shahibaug area of the city tonight and was rushed to a hospital. "As per my information, the police team of Gangapur (in Rajasthan) is returning without executing the arrest warrant, as he was not found in Ahmedabad", said Inspector General of Police, Bharatpur range, Alok Kumar Vashishtha. As per the reports, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, he was taken to the Chandramani Hospital and was missing when the Rajasthan Police came to arrest him in an old case. Despite making such serious allegations, Togadia went on to say, "I have no complaints against the Gujarat Police, also I have no complaints against the Rajasthan Police".
Earlier in the day, VHP activists alleged that Togadia was missing and that he had been taken away by Rajasthan Police. Shockingly, he has also insisted that it is the Rajasthan and Gujarat police - which work under respective state authorities - that want to knock him out. Police sources said they were studying CCTV footage from VHP office and other locations for more clues.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Pravin Togadia awaked after dealing with 12 hours unconsciousness.
However, the Rajasthan Police denied detention or arrest of Togadia.

The VHP workers tried to block traffic on the busy Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway in western Ahmedabad. According to the statements given by 108 staff to the police, they had found nothing wrong with Togadia but Charandas insisted he be admitted to a hospital.
Asked who could be behind this alleged plot to get him killed, Togadia refused to name any names. "To stop recurrence of such incidents, an independent inquiry must be conducted in Togadia's case", Modhwadia told reporters.
"He had fallen unconscious due to low sugar levels and was brought to the hospital", the doctors attending him at a private hospital in Ahmedabad said.
The VHP chief did, however, allege that the Intelligence Bureau was working against him, and claimed there was a conspiracy to get him tangled in a web of false cases.
