An iPhone SE 2 is reportedly planned, but details are still lacking.
Critics have always been on Apple's case for not offering wireless charging in its iPhones, while its Android-based competitors all offered the feature. Well, we had reported some weeks ago that the successor to that device, which will be called the Apple iPhone SE 2, will debut at the Apple Worldwide Developers' Conference in June this year. As a result, smartphone makers such as Samsung will only have to worry about one wireless charging format going forward (or at least until new technology rolls out). Recent reports have revealed that the Cupertino company may unveil the alleged iPhone SE 2 as early as in the first half of this year. The device has a pleasant, if dated, design, and at $349, is the most affordable smartphone Apple sells.

There is now another reason to believe that Apple could be launching a successor to the 4-inch iPhone SE in the not-so-distant future. As the phone isn't anywhere close to confirmed, we don't have many ideas about what the phone may include.

The Bafta ceremony will be held at London´s Royal Albert Hall, two weeks ahead of the hotly anticipated Oscars on March 4. Veteran actor Joanna Lumley has taken the charge from Stephen Fry to host the 71st EE British Academy Film Awards .
There's always some concern with these revamps, however, with regards to the pricing. As the only model that is affordable to many users - especially in countries where leasing phones isn't common - bumping up the price significantly may not be a good idea if they want to retain the breadth of their user base. It will likely be a little while before we receive an official announcement, but if the iPhone SE 2 rumor is correct, we shouldn't have too much longer to wait before we know what exactly will be included with the SE revamp. According to speculative reports, Apple's second-gen iPhone SE will launch this coming March and will be available in 32GB and 128GB capacities.
