Soon-to-be superstar free agent LeBron James is evidently impressed by the young Los Angeles Lakers team.

During last nights game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers, the Lakers had a pretty impressive game by beating out Lebron James 127 to 113. James entered the game averaging 26.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and a career-best 9.0 assists. Thomas embraced with several of his former teammates, including LeBron, prior to tip-off.

The Cavs have been overtaken by the Indiana Pacers for third place and now sit 7.5 games behind the second-place Boston Celtics, who have seen injury issues of their own with Kyrie Irving's nagging knee soreness. Larry Nance Jr. ended his night with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Jose Calderon was the only other Cavs player to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points.

Barca Coach Comments On Links With Neymar
The Brazilian is said to have contacted the LaLiga side in the wake of PSG's elimination from the Champions League this week. When asked about the possibility of a 400-million-euro player, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane didn't slam the idea.

Thomas - who shot a few glares at good friend Floyd Mayweather Jr., seated near the Cavs' bench, after making a couple of baskets - had what might have been his best all-around game for the Lakers with 20 points, nine assists and five rebounds.

Though the Spurs are just 5-4 this season when the forward plays, his presence gives them a singular talent to lean on that is otherwise missing from the lineup. Davis had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks.

James could leave Cleveland as a free agent this summer and the Lakers are tipped to land the 14-time NBA All Star.

Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan star as Arsenal cruise past Watford
And the current New York City boss feels Wenger is owed some loyalty, having rejected big offers to stay at the club in the past. Arsenal remain in sixth place and still look unlikely to qualify for next season's Champions League via a top-four finish.

But there was at least one highlight from the game that will stand the test of time.

Considering the Lakers' youth, it's actually a quality that coach Luke Walton appreciates. But what's the point of having rules if they don't get enforced?

The Lakers could use more of that from Randle to compete in a brutal back-to-back this week against the Denver Nuggets and at the Golden State Warriors, with Brandon Ingram slated to miss both due to his recovery from a groin injury. Though James has also been linked to the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers, the aforementioned four teams are reportedly in his final shortlist.

Kane injury leaves Pochettino 'concerned'
The Sun says Kane is in Real Madrid 's sights, even though the Spanish giants know he could cost in excess of £200million. His cross for Mustafi's opener made him the fastest man to 50 Premier League assists, taking 141 games.
