VIKINGS TO OFFER KIRK COUSINS 3-YEAR DEAL: Kirk Cousins will visit the Minnesota Vikings first in his search for a new team. After the season, he said he wanted to continue playing, but the Jets emerged as possible contenders in the sweepstakes for Cousins.

He is heading to the Vikings, while the Jets are bringing in ex-Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and re-signing their own starter from a year ago, Josh McCown. Following a short delay, the two sides came to terms on a one-year deal.

Just 87 seconds after coming off the bench, Ben Yedder was put through by Sarabia and sent a right-footed strike past De Gea. The introduction of the Frenchman changed the game as Sevilla finally turned a growing attacking threat into goals .

The New York Jets are expected to sign quarterback Teddy Bridgewater when the National Football League free agency period officially starts on March 14, according to an initial report from Bryant McFadden. They still hold the No. 6 pick in the draft and could very well use it on a quarterback to sit behind McCown and Bridgewater.

It is unclear if the Jets will also consider drafting a quarterback with the sixth overall pick next month. The Vikings have offered the free agent quarterback a three-year, $86 million deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Certainly, they are making the moves to do so.

The Jets also appeared poised to make a big splash on defense, with multiple reports saying Tuesday night that NY was close to signing both former Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson and former Titans linebacker Avery Williamson.

Once the Crowell deal became public knowledge, Maccagnan and the Jets caught their biggest fish of the day, adding former Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson. McCown and the Jets have expressed a desire to get back together as a backup plan. Johnson gives the Jets a true number one cornerback who thrives in press coverage. Williamson is four-years younger than Davis and came in much lower than Davis' reported asking price of $9-10 million per year.

The Jets needed to find a quarterback pretty badly this year.
