The 30-year-old struggled some down the stretch, but still earned PFF's No. 17 grade among cornerbacks last season. Well, the Browns didn't do that.

McCourty and a seventh-round pick will be sent to New England in exchange for the Patriots' sixth-round draft pick.

The Met Office says temperatures will turn much colder this weekend, bringing the chance of a few flurries. Over higher ground above 200 metres though, 5-10 cm is likely with locally 20 cm over the highest routes.

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly set to release veteran cornerback Jason McCourty, who signed a two-year contract with the team last May. The deal means Jason will join identical twin, former Pro Bowl S Devin McCourty, in a Patriots secondary that officially parted ways with Malcolm Butler this week. Jason and Devin played collegiate football together at Rutgers.

He was selected by the Titans with the 203rd overall pick (sixth round) in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Amid the din, Deputy Chairman P J Kurien, who was in the Chair, directed the Secretary General to read out a message from the Lok Sabha.

By his third season in the league, McCourty was full-time starter, racking up 105 total tackles, one sack, two picks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 15 regular-season games. Belichick asked Jason why he wasn't dressed for practice, a prank the McCourtys relished and said Belichick was the recipient of the best twin trick they've pulled on anyone. He racked up 65 combined tackles, 14 passes defended and three interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown.
