Trump aide fired, under investigation by Secret Service

On Monday, the Trump administration fired John McEntee, after a federal investigation uncovered evidence that he had committed "serious financial crimes".

President Trump's personal assistant was let go on Monday - escorted from the White House without being allowed to get his coat, according to reports.

John McEntee had served as Trump's personal assistant for three years, dating back to the early days of the 2016 presidential election, according to the Wall Street Journal. McEntee left without his belongings and wasn't even able to grab his jacket as he was escorted out of the White House and into the chilly environs outside. In the same 24 hours, he promptly received a new position in Trump's 2020 reelection campaign. The cause of the firing was an unspecified security issue, said a third White House official with knowledge of the situation.

Saints, Drew Brees agree to $50M deal
All of that money would have hit this year's salary cap if Brees hadn't signed a new deal by March 14. Brett Favre also is ahead of Brees - for now - with 71, 838 yards and 508 TDs passing.

McEntee has been one of Trump's few mainstays over his political career. McEntee was sacked on Monday over unspecified security concerns, according to a new report.

Cummings requested by March 27 McEntee's security clearance application, the FBI's investigative report on McEntee and all documents and communications related to discussions about McEntee and his access to sensitive or classified information.

Even though there are clear security issues with McEntee, that didn't stop him immediately joining the Trump re-election campaign, along with former Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson.

Wilson and the Gamecocks face a hard path in front of them as they attempt to defend last year's NCAA title. Closing out the bracket is the Lexington Region, which features ACC champion Louisville as the top seed.

McEntee managed to keep a low profile in a campaign and White House often embroiled in controversy.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders declined to comment on the reasons for his departure, saying only Mr McEntee was going to the campaign.

The White House's revolving door for high-ranking staffers has grown so notorious that President Trump's staunchest allies can't defend the chaos. "We need the help of proven leaders such as Katrina [Pierson] and John to promote the President's growing portfolio of achievements across the country".
