Working conditions at Tesla's California factory are being scrutinised.

A self-claimed data geek and apparently a Tesla fan moved by the disclosure by company's CEO Elon Musk that he sleeps at the floor of his factory to ramp up Tesla Model 3's production, has started a GoFundMe campaign. A spokesperson for the group would not specify exactly what triggered the action, only that it "takes seriously reports of workplace hazards and allegations of employers' under reporting recordable work-related injuries and illnesses". This inhalation injury was allegedly not added to the official injury logs at Tesla.

The National Transportation Safety Board also blamed metal fatigue for the engine failure on a Southwest plane in Florida in 2016. Investigators say a fan blade snapped off as the plane cruised at 500 miles per hour high above Pennsylvania.

Late on Tuesday, California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health, known as CAL/OSHA, opened its inspection and investigations can be triggered by a number of reasons, including internal complaints from employees. Other injuries like sprains and repetitive strain injury from building the cars were also allegedly not logged.

Tesla said the Californian safety agency is required to investigate any claims that are made, "regardless of whether they have merit or are baseless (as we believe these are) and we always provide our full co-operation".

Sidney Crosby, Penguins Dominate Flyers to Take 3-1 Series Lead
The Flyers, outside of Game 2 last Friday, have been defined by their defense the rest of the series, and it hasn't been pretty. In getting pulled during the second periods of Games 1 and 4, Elliott has given up a total of eight goals on 36 shots ...

"We have never in the entire history of our company received a violation for inaccurate or incomplete injury record-keeping", said Tesla, adding that its injury rate at the Freemont factory was lower than when Toyota Motor Corp and General Motors owned it. The United Auto Workers union has been making efforts to organise the Tesla plant workers for more than a year. Musk wrote an email to his staff suggesting measures for precision, profit and productivity, automotive news website Electrek reported.

The development came a day after Musk said that the company would now build Model 3 sedan round the clock until the end of June to produce 6,000 cars per week. "Any that fail to meet the Tesla standard of excellence will have their contracts ended on Monday".

Cuomo signs executive order to give parolees the right to vote
Under state law, felons who are in prison or on parole can not vote. "That could not be more different from me", she told Colbert. Barone said he hopes discussion on Cuomo's decision can be kept in the arena of criminal justice reform and not party politics.
