Bandai Namco announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered will be delayed from its initial May 25 release date along with the release of the Solaire of Astora amiibo. Additionally, the Solaire of Astora amiibo has also been postponed with the same timeframe.
Bandai Namco wasn't more specific about the reasons for the delay, but it is worth noting that the game still hasn't had the announced network test that was supposed to hit the Nintendo eShop "soon" after the game's March 8 announcement. The Dark Souls series is notorious for having extremely hard, unforgiving gameplay and mysterious plots.

Fortunately, this delay only affects those on the Nintendo Switch.
However, the game has only been delayed for Nintendo Switch and the game will maintain its May 25 release date for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
