Five MFC Wildland Firefighters, along with their equipment, should arrive in Western Oklahoma sometime Tuesday evening.

The fire burned into Stanton and Morton counties in Kansas.

As of Tuesday night, the Oklahoma Office of Emergency Management said, states of emergency had been declared in 52 counties in the state.

El Paso County Sheriff Bill Elder asked residents in the southern part of the county to remain vigilant because evacuation orders are still in place and the fire could re-ignite.
