It's learned WB is moving forward on a new Harley Quinn movie starring Margot Robbie. And, with just one indie under her belt, Yan would become the second woman to sit in a DC director's chair for after Patty Jenkins helmed 2017's Wonder Woman, and the second director of Asian descent alongside James Wan, whose Aquaman drops this December. Yan reportedly put together a stellar presentation for her vision of the film. The series features Harley teaming up with several other crime fighters in the DC universe, including Black Canary, Batgirl, and Huntress. The script will be written by Christina Hodson, fresh off her work penning the Batgirl movie. Margot Robbie will reprise her role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming film.
