Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reacts to Bournemouth win, talks Mohamed Salah

Beating Manchester City 5-1 over two legs is no small feat and it's bound to have ejected Liverpool with plenty of confidence, but for a side known to often waste momentum, losing to smaller teams after beating bigger ones in the past, Jurgen Klopp's men did rather well last night to keep the flame burning bright.

Jurgen Klopp, Manager of Liverpool celebrates victory with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain of Liverpool after the Premier League match between Liverpool and AFC Bournemouth at Anfield on April 14, 2018 in Liverpool, England.

Mohamed Salah's 30th Premier League goal of the season helped steer Liverpool to an easy win over Bournemouth.

"Yes, it's extraordinary. He knows that", Klopp told a news conference.

"So it's a win-win situation". That is the individual quality they possess, you won't see a better goal this weekend, a real team goal.

"It's good and impressive - what a number, wow!"

Salah also becomes just the third Liverpool player to score 40 goals in all competitions in a single season. It's around about 100 in the Champions League. "It was a brilliant game", said Klopp. That record now stands at 31 goals, and with Salah already finding the net in 22 of 32 league appearances, I'm not sure I'd bet against him setting a new record.

In the 68th minute in the game against Bournemouth, Salah scored his 40th goal of the season and made it into Liverpool history. We scored one but had chance after chance with really good football against a side full of confidence, good footballers, quick on the counter attack, which makes your life really uncomfortable. "It looked really mature, fluent and flexible again". After an outstanding week when everyone has been saying how good you are into the semi-finals. The boys did fantastic. "It was the flawless manner to play this game - we kept the ball".

I have to congratulate the players for doing so, it wasn't easy. "Today we played against the third-placed team, and we won". Villarreal are sixth on 48 points, Sevilla are seventh on 47, with Betis fifth on 52 after winning 1-0 at Girona on Friday.

Dejan Lovren came off in the 83rd minute at Anfield on Saturday and headed straight down the tunnel after being replaced by Ragnar Klavan.

"He played one game, the next game rested, then played another game and then the next game rested and stuff like that".
