Los Angeles prosecutors reviewing sex crimes case against Kevin Spacey

In England, Scotland Yard is investigating three separate sexual assault allegations against Spacey.

The Los Angeles County prosecutors have confirmed that they are reviewing an alleged sexual assault case brought against the actor Kevin Spacey.

A spokeswoman for the actor, Laura Johnson, declined to comment.

It is the first police investigation to name Spacey, 58, as a suspect in Los Angeles since the sheriff's department's Special Victims Bureau began investigating allegations of a sexual assault involving Spacey on December 11.

The nature and origin of the sexual assault accusation was not disclosed. The case involves claims from the 1990s, which is outside the statute of limitations.

A spokesman for Spacey did not comment on the USA investigation. Rapp said it happened in 1986, when he was at Spacey's home for a party, and Spacey put him on his bed and climbed on top of him.

As the allegations against Spacey piled up, he was sacked from "House of Cards" and replaced in Ridley Scott's film "All the Money in the World".

He was sacked from Netflix's House of Cards and erased from the film All The Money In The World, with the reshoots costing millions of dollars.
