Mehbooba Mufti to decide on resignation of BJP minister, says Ram Madhav


As the nationwide outrage against the rape and murder of an eight-year-old nomad girl got shriller, two BJP ministers in Jammu and Kashmir - Choudhary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga - on Friday submitted their resignations.

Instead, she put up an atrocious defence for Chandra Parkash Ganga and Lal Singh.

Also, if the two BJP ministers from Jammu and Kashmir were merely being misled, then where was the need to sack them from the cabinet?

The minor girl from the Bakerwal community was kidnapped on January 10 and taken to a temple in Rasana village in Kathua district. Eventually, her corpse was thrown into the forest where it was found a week later.

"We hold girls sacred and those who have raped and killed a child deserve the harshest punishment".
