More than 200 million eggs recalled, fear of salmonella contamination

- Hundreds of millions of eggs are being voluntarily recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.

The FDA reports eggs from the following the brands have been recalled including "loose" eggs that are distributed to various restaurants in large quantities. FDA testing determined that eggs produced from this farm are connected to 22 cases of Salmonella Braenderup infections; the CDC is confirming illness information with state health departments.

The 53 items affected by the recall include brands like Country Daybreak, Coburn Farms, Crystal Farms, Sunshine Farms and Glenview, with some eggs sold at Food Lion stores, CNN said.
