Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley was arrested early Sunday morning after he reportedly fell asleep in his vehicle while driving on the freeway. Per reports, Worley was tasered after he became "combative" with Philadelphia police and was arrested around 6 AM Sunday morning.

Worley, 23, had two interceptions last season and has three in his two-year career. He was a third-round pick out of West Virginia in 2016. He was reportedly arrested near the team facility.
The Eagles said in a statement: 'We are in the process of gathering more information about Daryl Worley's arrest this morning'.

The report also shows that Worley was tased by the police after allegedly becoming aggressive towards the officers on scene.
Rapoport tweeted that Worley was passed out in his vehicle near Broad and Pattison Streets, blocking a highway. In college, Worley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault.

He said the incident underscores the need for more body-worn cameras to present different perspectives of police responses. The Philadelphia Police Department announced via social media that the incident has sparked an internal investigation.
It is not yet clear why Worley, who is a Philly native, was arrested.
