Wearing sunglasses and a red "Make America Great Again" cap, the former Chicago Bulls star, who has visited North Korea in the past, talked up his own relationship with Kim and remarked on how he was rebuffed in his role as an unofficial intermediary between the U.S. and the rogue state.

Rodman says he's good mates with Trump, appearing on the former reality star's show Celebrity Apprentice in 2009 (he was sacked for spelling Melania's name wrong).

Rodman began to tear up recalling the death threats he had received because of his visits, saying his intentions had been good and misunderstood - to promote peace, dialogue and sports in North Korea. While some can't get over the fact that Dennis was crying, other's are more bothered by the fact that he is suggesting he's the reason behind the summit.

Rodman explained to CNN host Chris Cuomo his relationship with Kim, and explained that former President Obama "didn't even give [him] the time of day". I still kept going back. "I couldn't even go home ..." I never had no one to hear me. I said: Yes I can. Rodman is not at the summit in any official capacity, invited by neither the USA nor the North Korean delegations. "He wants to come to America and enjoy his life".

Kate Middleton Dresses Princess Charlotte to Match Her Style
Savannah, George and Charlotte are clearly firm friends, so we'll expect to see more cute cousin moments from them in the future. The Duchess, who gave birth to Prince Louis just seven weeks ago, looked sensational in her casual blue striped midi dress.

In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, Rodman said: "It's a great day. I said: I'm going to bring a professional basketball team to you", Rodman said.

This trip, like the last one, is sponsored by potcoin.com, the crypto-currency provider for the legal marijuana industry, Rodman said on Twitter.

"It's a great day".

Rodman first visited North Korea in 2013 when he toured the country with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Trump landed in Singapore a little after 8:30 p.m. local time for the highly-anticipated meeting with the North Korean leader, which is set to take place on Tuesday. "All of these years, I somehow had something to do with this North Korea situation, but I don't want to take credit", he continued. And obviously he has a great rapport with Kim Jong Un - who is a basketball fanatic himself.

But Rodman and his agent did say the five-time National Basketball Association champion was contacted, and thanked, by the White House. "We don't need a miracle, but we need the doors to be open so we can start fresh".

"I think that country is normally hearing people who are always lying, deceitful and not trustworthy".

Supreme Court approves Ohio's method of purging voter rolls
The state appealed, saying the process targets people who have failed to respond to a notice, not those who have failed to vote. If the notice is ignored and the voter fails to update a registration over the next four years, the registration is canceled.
