"BREAKING NEWS for all you Anthony Joshua fans", Wilder wrote on Twitter.

Briton Joshua, with a professional record of 21 wins and no losses is the holder of the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO titles while Wilder who has 40 wins and no losses is the WBC world champion. "Deontay has accepted his terms to fight in the UK".

There is a lot of sorting out to do for this fight, but great news that in principle he seems to be on board for the idea of coming to the United Kingdom for the fight.

American Deontay Wilder has agreed terms to fight Anthony Joshua in Britain later this year in a bout that would crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion in nearly 20 years. We made this offer about four weeks ago and I don't know if he's come back because he's heard we're close to closing the Povetkin fight or whether he wants the fight, but either way he's going to be getting a contract from us ASAP.

It has also blamed Brexit for hitting demand in Europe's second-largest autos market, where demand fell 6 percent past year . It means the company's Solihull and Halewood plants will remain at the cutting-edge of its long-term strategy.

"I spoke to AJ and Rob McCracken this morning and obviously we saw Deontay Wilder's stuff on social media".

A fight with Wilder has always been Plan A for Joshua, but after lengthy talks with the WBC champion struggled to produce a definitive scenario, a deal had largely been concluded with Povetkin for September in London.

"Now we will see if they live up to it or if they try to go through with the fight with [mandatory challenger Alexander] Povetkin first".

"It's obviously the fight we want". A mandatory rematch would likely take place in the U.S.

The Government is against the plan, believing it sends the wrong message to Brussels regarding the UK's negotiating goals.

"We've had some great nights with [Carlos] Takam and [Wladimir] Klitschko and [Joseph] Parker and he wants to make sure that this history-making fight takes place in the UK". It's up to them to choose USA or UK. Not only does he hold a majority of the prominent belts, his victory in a war over onetime long reigning division king Wladimir Kltischko established the fighter as the man to beat throughout the fight world.

'Team Wilder offered Joshua $50million which is exactly what he asked for, and he then turned it down.

The victor of the first fight will become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

"I don't think they are too keen to do the fight in the U.K.", Hearn told Sky Sports last week.
