Judging from the pictures, it looks like fans are going to get a lot more of Chris Pine!

Well, apparently returning director Patty Jenkins cares nothing for that sound logic as the acclaimed filmmaker just dropped a bomb on Twitter. Gadot captioned the photo, "Wonder Woman 1984", hinting that the sequel may not simply be called Wonder Woman 2 like everyone has assumed. Pictures' follow up to the Super Hero's first outing, last summer's record-breaking "Wonder Woman", which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office.

Despite the first Justice League film underperforming, there appears to be a sequel in some form of active development over at Warner Brothers.

But considering the almost seven decades between the first film and its sequel, Pine would have to be playing Steve's grandson in Wonder Woman 1984.

And more importantly (I think, anyway), a new game based on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things series is also in the works. This would include Roku, Amazon Fire TV , Apple TV, and even smart televisions with a built in Netflix app.

The crew for "Wonder Woman 1984" will be in Alexandria for several weeks this summer, commonwealth officials said in a statement.

Director Patty Jenkins revealed a sneak peek of Chris Pine looking confused in a shopping center, which is probably because he allegedly died back in the first "Wonder Woman" after sacrificing himself in WWI. While Cheetah doesn't tend to use illusions, those are the preferred weapons of another Wonder Woman villain: Circe.
