Artist paints over LeBron James mural after vandalized

LeBron James hasn't been in L.A. two weeks and the stars are already falling out of the sky to work with him - this time it's Common, who tells TMZ Sports he's ITCHING to do movie biz with the King.

Now that King James is ready to shine in the Staples Center, it appears the Lakers will look even better than they'll play.

"I got a ton of support", Never said. 'At first when we had the original piece, there was a ton of positivity, but also a ton of like pro-Kobe, anti-LeBron sentiment.

"I don't know if it's LeBron haters or Kobe fans or just someone who wants attention", Never said while painting over the mural. That's because the muralist who created it, Jonas Never, has made a decision to repaint the wall white after the artwork was defaced for the second time in five days.

In one since-deleted Twitter post, a Lakers fan offered $300 to anyone who defaced the mural. Upon returning to Cleveland, James went to four more consecutive finals' and led the Cavs to one of the most memorable championships of all time, coming back from a 3-1 deficient to beat the National Basketball Association juggernaut Golden State Warriors in 2016.
