Klopp responds to latest Karius howler


Jurgen Klopp has jumped to the defence of Loris Karius after the Liverpool goalkeeper made another mistake in a pre-season friendly against Tranmere.

The Reds were leading 3-0 thanks to first-half goals from Rafael Camacho, Sheyi Ojo and Adam Lallana.

The German added that Karius will continue to be criticised until "he has a few fantastic games". Despite the mistake, Klopp defender the Germany keeper after he spilled a free-kick where the League Two side scored from the loose ball.

The midfielder found the net just twice for his side last season in all competitions, but the latter being an integral goal against Roma in the Champions League semi final second leg.
