Tom DeLay: I Approve of Trump Blowing Off CNN

Fox News reporter John Roberts rebuked President Donald Trump in a statement after he refused to take a question from a CNN journalist and called NBC's reporting "dishonest" at a press conference on Friday.

Trump claimed that he didn't criticize May in his interview with The Sun, and he even called the report "fake news".

At the press conference, he said he has "a lot of respect for the prime minister" and that whatever she does with Brexit is "OK with me". "And unfortunately there was a story that was done, which was generally fine, but it didn't put in what I said about the prime minister, and I said tremendous things".

He added that he used to work for CNN, saying that Trump issuing "a blanket condemnation of the network as "fake news" is also unfair".

Trump said his aides had their own recording of the interview and suggested the tape would prove him right.

Women Awarded Almost $5 Billion In Damages from J&J
But Lanier argued that it was the agencies and labs cited by J&J that used flawed testing methods that failed to detect asbestos. Asbestos fibers and talc particles were found in the ovarian tissues of numerous women, the plaintiffs' lawyers said.

It was President Trump's turn to call on a reporter for a question when Acosta began shouting, "Since you attacked CNN can I ask you a question?".

"Saying a news organization isn't real doesn't change the facts and won't stop us from doing our jobs", Talev said.

Trump's latest invocation of "fake news" put Murdoch's media empire on two continents in the position of having to tell their readers and viewers that the president's characterization of one of their sister outlets was, as the British like to say, bollocks. He criticized the newspaper for not printing the positive things he said about May, although he later softened his stance when it was pointed out that the Sun released audio portions of the interview. She's as honest as the day is long.

Roberts, a chief White House correspondent, also stood by Welker, who was attacked by the president when she asked him if he was giving Russian President Vladimir Putin the "upper hand".

Serena Williams surprised with Wimbledon semi-final appearance
As Serena waved her hands to four points of the stadium in jubilant celebration, Camila Giorgi departed the arena in a hurry. Serena, seeded 25th, was facing a fellow mother in Rodina, the world number 120 who calls the American her "idol".

CNN anchor Jake Tapper tweeted that he was "old enough to remember when other networks came to the defense of Fox News WH correspondents during the Obama years". Instead of sticking up for his fellow journalists, Roberts continued to ask his question as though nothing had happened.

He said he only proceeded with his question after "it became clear that the president wasn't going to entertain a question from" Acosta.

"You see, that is such dishonest reporting".

Roberts said, "I know Kristen Welker of NBC".
