Xherdan Shaqiri arrives at Liverpool for medical ahead of Stoke move


Xherdan Shaqiri is on the verge of completing a £13 million move to Liverpool.

His club career involves FC Basel, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Stoke City - the 26 year old winger also has 74 global caps to his name, and 21 goals.

Shaqiri helped Switzerland reach the round-of-16 of the World Cup, with Stoke hoping those performances in Russian Federation would spark an auction for the forward.

In June, he was reported as saying he wanted to leave Stoke and sign for a Premier League club.
