Angelina Jolie Alleges That Brad Pitt Has Not Paid Enough Child Support

After a period of relative peace, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce has become a battleground once again.

The ongoing saga of the Brangelina split is back in the headlines after Angelina Jolie's attorneys filed a complaint that claims Brad Pitt has paid no "meaningful" child support since the couple announced their intention to divorce almost two years ago. Jolie's team didn't define what constituted as a "meaningful" child-support payment. In the child custody hearing in June, the judge did not directly address Pitt's worth in relation to the child support he is allegedly supposed to pay 'informally'.

Now, she's considering a court order to get the money.

The Maleficent star's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, filed new legal papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, stating Jolie's intention to seek a court order forcing Pitt to pay a significant share of the costs of raising their six children.

Nearly two years after the Hollywood power couple separated, Jolie is trying to kickstart the process so that it can be finalised by the end of the year.

The arrangement for child support was allegedly informal, per the TMZ report, but Jolie claims that Pitt has not even lived up to those informal expectations.

Angie originally made their split super ugly in 2016, by making all sorts of private details of child custody issues public. Their eldest son Maddox was adopted from Cambodia in 2002.

Pitt was later provided with cell phone numbers for each child, in order to text and call them without Jolie's supervision.

The brood is now living in London with Jolie as she films Maleficent 2, while Pitt has spent his court-ordered time with the kids in London and Los Angeles, where he is shooting Quentin Tarantino's new movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

When asked how Jolie was coping (as seen in the video above), she said, "My focus is my children, our children, and my focus is finding this way through".
