Cam Newton confronts Kelvin Benjamin over remarks

Earlier this week, former Carolina Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin pretty much blasted his entire time with the franchise, especially Cam Newton and questioned his intelligence at the QB position.

When it became clear Benjamin wasn't over their squabbling, Newton ushered away a Bills player for privacy, but Benjamin walked away from the conversation. That may not be the case anymore, as Newton didn't seem able to say what he wanted when approaching Benjamin in-person.

After Benjamin's comments were published, McDermott expressed disapproval, saying Sunday (via ESPN), "There's a time and a place - I'm not saying specific to what comments were made - there's a time and place for things like that".

"I just think Carolina was bad for me", Benjamin told The Athletic.

"I ain't gonna go back and forth with him, I'm just gonna work", Newton said.
