Samuel L. Jackson & Cobie Smulders Join Spider-Man: Far From Home

Captain Marvel sees his character, Nick Fury, set in the 1990's with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers and fellow SHIELD agent Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson; Marvel will be using de-aging technology to reduce Jackson and Gregg's appearance by 25 years. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel universe, will star in 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, according to a report by Vulture.

Many are expecting that some of the people Thanos killed in Infinity War will return somehow, and that could include Fury and Hill.

Ben Stokes trial: Jury shown CCTV footage of ‘groin grab’
Yesterday, the court heard Stokes bullied the gay revellers, throwing a cigarette at one and making mocking gestures at them. Stokes "started to take the mick out of them", mimicking their actions and "high-pitched" voices, he told the court.

At the time, we believed it might have something to do with Captain Marvel reshoots, since we know for a fact Jackson is in that-but, obviously, now we know that's not the case.

Fury and Hill haven't interacted with Holland's Spider-Man just yet, as most of Spidey's hero interaction has come in the form of Tony Stark. The film will arrive after Captain Marvel, which is set years before Thanos in the 1990s, but there's a strong possibility that we'll see the two storylines linking up - and a good bet that some kind of time-jump will be involved. To the sharp, piercing shock of millions, it appears those deaths may not hold, as Vulture-the website, not the villain-has confirmed both Jackson and Smulders will reprise their roles in Spider-Man: Far From Home. One such recently discovered element - spotted, as always, by an eagle-eyed Redditor - has larger implications on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The spidey sequel is already underway but plenty of infomation about the bigger MCU story arc can already be gleaned from the cast list. Ant-Man and the Wasp is now in theaters.
