The announcement of its new Type-C earbuds could suggest the firm is getting rid of the headphone jack with its next phone, and that wouldn't be too big of a surprise considering the fact that every other smartphone manufacturer is moving away from the headphone jack. He doesn't give specifics, but the company has already confirmed the 6T will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, which presumably will take up some interior space ( likely more than the current old-school scanner does).
