An episode of The Walking Dead that doesn't include the deaths of at least two characters is considered a snooze. Death isn't very amusing.
But fans of the sitcom will feel some heartache in upcoming episodes as co-creator Christopher Lloyd admitted that season 10 will deal with the death of a "significant character",' according to Entertainment Weekly.
"We're handling some bigger life events this season". "We do deal with a death. and on television, it's not easy to do because that's a heavy subject", he says.
Wrightsville Beach 12 brace for Florence to fully make landfall
North Carolina's Emergency Management tweeted that more than 154,000 homes were already without electricity by late Thursday. The few cars out on a main street in Wilmington had to swerve to avoid fallen trees, metal debris and power lines.
At the time, Lloyd went on to explain that they were now discussing how they want the final moments of the show to go, saying that things will ideally end the way they began - with a big family event.
The word "significant" could mean different things to Lloyd and us. From our standpoint creatively we've gotten excited writing this season and changing the lives of the characters - some in a significant way - and it's made us think, 'Wow, there's a lot to explore in the lives of these characters.' They're in many ways such different characters than they were five or 10 years ago when we started and they're just as interesting and just as amusing. Lloyd remains optimistic that there will be Dunphy doofiness beyond this season. For what it's worth, Team TVLine put on its thinking cap and deduced (sorry!) that Phil's father Frank (sorry again!), played by the lovely (and Emmy Award-nominated!) Fred Willard is the most likely candidate.
It's not yet been confirmed whether season 10 will be the last for the show, which has been a family favourite since premiering in 2010. That would be one hell of a way to go out.
Theresa May faces fresh threat of Brexit rebellion
There is, so far, no full exit deal and it is uncertain whether May can push an agreement through the British parliament. Once a deal is reached, it has to go to the United Kingdom parliament and the European Parliament for approval.
Modern Family airs on Sky1 in the UK.
As if that tease wasn't tantalizing enough, there's still the open question of whether or not "Modern Family" will be renewed for an 11th season, or if it will end after its contract expires with this 10th outing.
FDA takes action against e-cigarette epidemic among youth
The FDA has also been revamping its regulation on tobacco, including lowering the amount of nicotine in conventional cigarettes. E-cigs deliver lower toxin levels than regular cigarettes, but users can inhale more of the addictive stimulant nicotine.
